No Arrests Made At DUI Checkpoint

No arrests were made at a sobriety checkpoint in Redding Thursday night. The checkpoint was set up at Benton Drive and Quartz Hill Road from 6PM to 10:15PM. A total of 615 vehicles passed through and were screened. One driver was cited for driving without a license and 2 others were cited for suspended licenses. The checkpoint was part of the new campaign called “DUI Doesn’t Just Mean Booze”, with a focus on prescription drugs and marijuana.
