A resident of a Riverland Drive trailer park has accused another resident of robbing her at gunpoint. Shasta County Sheriff’s Deputies were called at 9:45PM Monday night to the Rapid River Mobile Home Park. Kristy McCurdy said she had been in her front yard when 38-year-old Alexander Leon approached her and brandished a handgun, demanding money. She said she went inside and he followed her. After getting money, Leon reportedly fled. Deputies started searching for Leon, including a search of his home, but he wasn’t found. Later in the evening a deputy got word that Leon was in the home of another Rapid River resident. He was arrested for robbery, though the alleged gun and money were not found.
