A man cooling off in the Sacramento River at Los Molinos ended up a victim of an apparent drowning. At around 2 O’clock Wednesday afternoon witnesses at the Mill Creek Park Boat Ramp saw the man wading in the water for a while. He then bent down and submerged himself, but did not resurface. witnesses then began looking for him. when they found him underwater they pulled him out and started CPR while emergency responders were on their way, but the man could not be revived. Apparently none of the bystanders knew the man. The Tehama County Sheriff’s Office has identified him as 54-year-old Ronald Victor Brown of Los Molinos. His family has been notified of his passing.
