Most of a home was saved by Redding Firefighters early Friday morning. The fire was on Americana Way off of Quartz Hill. 9-1-1 callers reported explosions coming from the home. Firefighters arrived to find the garage of the home fully involved in fire. It was destroyed, but most of the living area of the home was saved. The cause is under investigation.
