Lightning storms have not grown much over the weekend.
The Modoc Lightning Complex is more than 83,000 acres and is not expected to grow with overall containment of 97%.
The Parker 2 Fire, burning in the Warner Mountains of Modoc County, is about 8000 acres with 61% containment.
7 miles southwest of Happy Camp, the Clear Fire has burned over 6700 acres of steep heavily forested terrain, with 76% containment.
The Orleans Complex of fires in the Six Rivers National Forest, 20 miles north of Orleans, which now includes 15 fires, has not grown much over the weekend. The fires total more than 5,300 acres with overall containment of 14%.
The Ruth Complex of fires that started last Wednesday in the Six-Rivers National Forest south of Ruth Lake has grown to 3200 acres with just 10% containment.
Forest Service firefighters have contained all but 3 the 32 known lightning-sparked fires discovered last week on the Shasta-Trinity National Forest. Some of the very remote fires are only accessible by smokejumpers. All of the Shasta-Trinity fires collectively only total about 36 acres.
