The Dutch Bros in Anderson is backing the blue. For a full 24 hours the Dutch Bros Coffee location near the Anderson Wal-Mart will donate a Dollar of every cup of coffee sold to “We Back The Blue”, the local police support organization. These particular funds will be used for the Anderson Police K-9 unit. County Supervisor Les Baugh says an Anderson business owner has anonymously donated a Thousand Dollars to the cause and challenges other businesses to match it. The APD’s three K-9s and their handlers will be there doing demonstrations. The fundraising drive runs from 5 O’clock Friday morning to 5 O’clock Saturday morning.
