An event this Saturday at Redding School of the Arts is all about getting wet for charity. It’s the “Lift ‘Em Up Waterfest”, a family friendly water festival and fundraiser for the Good News Rescue Mission. Organizers say it’ll be big fun for the whole family with water slides, live music, good food, and lots of fun games and prizes. Admission to the event is totally free. It’s Saturday from 11AM to 3PM at Redding School of the Arts, located off of Shasta View Drive at the roundabout north of Old Alturas. Details are at gnrm.org.
