Details have just been released concerning a fatal off-road accident that happened a week ago. Last Thursday morning Jeremy Steenberg was found walking down Indian Creek Road in Douglas City with a serious head injury. He was hospitalized, apparently too injured to relate to authorities exactly what had happened to him. Investigators didn’t know if he had been the victim of a crash or an assault. Eventually it was determined that he had been in an ATV crash. A deputy went to the scene of the crash as directed by Steenberg. He found an ATV that had gone off the embankment and he also found the body of Brandon Meyers down the embankment near the ATV.
