Monday is the 16th anniversary of the September 11th terrorist attacks. It’s one of those days that just can’t be forgotten, and many believe it shouldn’t be. Everyone is welcome to attend a sunrise ceremony at the base of the giant American flag on North Bechelli Lane in Redding to honor the victims and first responders of that day. The event is organized by the Enterprise Lions, the keepers of the flag. They’ll be assisted by Redding Fire, Cal-Fire and the Patriot Guard. There will be speakers, the CDF pipes and drums band and music from the Enterprise High Band. The proceedings will begin at 6:45AM Monday morning and will be done in about an hour.
