Palo Cedro Hosting Annual Honey Bee Festival

It’s all about the bees and their industrious ways at this weekend’s 37th annual Palo Cedro Honeybee Festival. The event will feature over a hundred arts and crafts, business, food and non-profit vendor booths, as well as vintage tractors, kids entertainment, and a pancake breakfast. What really sets this event apart is attractions like the famous “bee beard” demonstration. Palo Cedro is the honeybee capital of Northern California and the queen bee capital of the world. There will also be a kid’s area with lots of things to do, including horseback rides. The festival starts with a pancake breakfast at 8AM and runs until 5 O’clock Saturday and 4 O’clock Sunday.
