A man was stabbed at a Redding bar Wednesday night. Redding Police were called to Mercy Hospital’s emergency room at 11:30PM. They found 22-year-old A Saephan suffering from a stab wound to his abdomen. He and several friends had been drinking at the All Star Sports Bar on Hartnell Avenue when an altercation broke out between Saephan and an unknown man. The fight spilled into the parking lot, with several of Saephan’s friends apparently joining him in fighting the man. Suddenly the man broke free of the group and ran off. That’s when Saephan realized he had been stabbed. His friends drove him to the hospital. He was rushed into surgery and police say his prognosis looks good. The man who stabbed him is described as a white man in his mid-20’s with medium length hair and tattoos on his arms.
