Red Bluff Police say a high risk sexual predator has been placed in their community and they’re so concerned about him they’ve gone to the extent of publicly releasing his address in order to warn people of his presence. 27-year-old Daniel McRoberts is a registered sex offender who has multiple convictions for lewd and lascivious acts with a child under 14, as well as kidnapping. His victims were girls between the ages of 9 and 14. The terms of his release are very restrictive. He’s prohibited from being anywhere near schools or other places where children gather. He’s not allowed to drive, and he has a curfew. He’s under direct 24 hour supervision as well as GPS monitoring, but still Red Bluff Police investigators are concerned that he will re-offend. He lives at 20675 Minch Road in Red Bluff. He’s 6-foot-3 and 300 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. His photo is on our Facebook page. Officials stress that the information is only being released as a precaution and anyone who uses it to commit violence will be fully prosecuted.
