Redding Police will be conducting a DUI and drivers license checkpoint sometime Thursday evening. The checkpoint will be setup somewhere within the city limits from 6PM to 11PM. Police do not announce the location of checkpoints ahead of time, but it will likely be placed in a location where there is a high level of DUI arrests. Officers will be screening for any signs of impairment and are reminding drivers that dui doesn’t mean just booze.
