Man Found Guilty Of Abusing Wife, Faces 4 Years In Prison

A Redding man has pleaded guilty in a domestic violence case that’ll send him to prison. Justin Joseph Bell entered guilty pleas Tuesday to several charges. Last year Bell strangled his wife because she wouldn’t have sex with him. She was unable to breathe for what she estimated to be about 35 seconds. When she wrenched herself away, he grabbed her, pushed her into a closet and strangled her again. At the time Bell was on probation for misdemeanor domestic violence. While the current case was pending bell violated a no-contact order. On October 31st Bell will be formally sentenced to 4 years in state prison.
