The Shasta County Coroner’s Office had identified the man whose body was found earlier this week, and officials believe he was struck by a train. Redding Police were called to a canyon north of Riverside Drive in Redding on Wednesday morning at about 7:40AM after a citizen reported finding a body in the area of Riverside Drive and Court Street. Redding Police Investigators believe that 50-year-old Christopher Donald Miller was struck by a train and they say it appears that he was on the train trestle when he was struck.
