A car flipped upside down and trapped the driver Wednesday afternoon near Downtown Redding. Shortly before 4 O’clock the small sedan was westbound on South Street and had just passed continental street when a pickup truck pulled out of a driveway into the westbound side of the road. The driver of the car yanked the steering wheel to the left and stomped on the brake. The next thing he knew the car was on its roof and he was trapped. Redding Fire Department showed up to free the driver. There was no injury.
