Crash Ends With Felony DUI Arrest In Anderson

An arrest was made after a crash in Anderson Thursday night. APD Officers were called at 7:20PM to Rhonda Road where they found a Honda Accord and a Pontiac Grand AM still in the road. Three juveniles in the Pontiac were injured, one of them badly enough to be taken by ambulance to a hospital, reportedly in stable condition. Police say 36-year-old Niria Lozoya of Cottonwood lied at first about being behind the wheel of the Honda, but she eventually admitted to being the driver. She had a suspended license and officers say she showed signs of intoxication so she was tested and then arrested for felony DUI with injury.
