Stabbing Suspect Remains At Large

A man was stabbed Sunday night in South Redding and the suspect is still at large. Police were called at 9:22PM to Westside Road near Fire Station Number 3. They found 24-year-old Brian Harvey suffering from a stab wound, and he was transported to Mercy Hospital.  Harvey told officers he had been stabbed by a white woman in her mid-30s who he did not know. Witnesses described the car she was in when she left, and it was found a while later on Cedars Road. The driver, 29-year-old Aaron Ashby, was arrested on a felony warrant, but the stabbing suspect was not found and Ashby is not believed to have been involved.
