Man Arrested For Allegedly Threatening Man With A Pistol

A Redding man who did a favor for a friend Friday afternoon was rewarded with a gun pointed at him, according to the sheriff’s office. 23-year-old Tyler Stone called 23-year-old Spencer Mojarro and said he needed food and cigarettes, but he couldn’t leave his house so he asked if Mojarro could deliver the goods and he would pay him when he got there. Mojarro went and purchased the items Stone requested and delivered them to Stones home on Gravel Plant Road, off Smith Road south of Redding. When Mojarro asked to be reimbursed for the money he had spent, Stone allegedly pointed a pistol at his head. Mojarro retreated to his car and left to call 9-1-1. When deputies arrived, Stone reportedly tried to take off out the backdoor but a deputy was already there waiting for him. An Airsoft pistol was found inside that looked like the gun described by Mojarro. Stone was booked into jail for robbery.
