Murder Suspects Ordered To Stand Trial

Three young Redding murder suspects have been ordered to stand trial. A preliminary hearing was held Monday for 20-year-old Brooklyn Hill, 19-year-old Isaiah Williams, and 21-year-old Devin Sutton-Wilson. They’re accused in the killing of 19-year-old Joshua Ahlberg and the attempted murder of 18-year-old Coleman Yount. The shootings occurred on September 21st inside an apartment on Heavenly Oak Lane in East Redding. Officers found evidence at the scene that led them to a home on Willis Street, where the trio was arrested. They were ordered Monday to stand trial for first degree murder with multiple special allegations and enhancements. Trial dates will be set November 6th. All three defendants are being held without bail.
