Surveillance images have been released that show the robber who hit a small market south of Redding Tuesday night. At 7:38PM a silent holdup alarm was activated at the Riverland Market south of Knighton Road. A man had come into the store and distracted the clerk, then overpowered him and demanded that he open the cash register drawer. The clerk did so and the man grabbed the cash and took off running northbound along Riverland Drive. The robber was wearing a some sort of plastic mask to conceal his face. Shasta County Sheriff’s Deputies searched the area with help from a CHP helicopter, but the robber was not found. The pictures are on the KQMS Facebook page.
