Someone was stabbed multiple times in Weaverville last week, according to the Trinity County Sheriff’s Office. At 3 O’clock Thursday afternoon deputies were dispatched along with medics to a location on Weaver Street. The victim, who had been stabbed in the back five times with a pair of scissors, was transported to a hospital. Apparently none of the wounds were life threatening. The victim identified the assailant through a photo lineup as Jennifer Graves. She was taken into custody early Friday morning and during questioning she allegedly admitted to stabbing the victim, saying that they had been arguing over a small amount of marijuana.
