The National Park Service will honor Veterans Day by waiving entrance fees at all 417 of their locations. That includes both Saturday and Sunday at Whiskeytown National Recreation Area and Lassen Volcanic National Forest. Active duty military members and their families can get a free annual national park pass. It can also be used at national forests, wildlife refuges and more. The pass can be acquired from any national park office.
