Thursday is the 8th annual Redding Area Bus Authority Salute To Veterans Donation Drive to provide bus passes to veterans in need. All the money raised will be used to purchase 10-Dollar RABA punch cards that will be administered by the Shasta County Veterans Service Office to veterans who need transportation. The event will run from 6AM to 1PM Thursday at the Cornerstone Community Bank on the corner of Cypress and Hemsted at the east end of the Cypress Bridge. More information is at rabaveterans.com.
