A minor decoy alcohol sting was done by Redding Police Thursday. An underage person working with officers went into 15 different stores trying to buy alcoholic drinks. The purchase was denied at 14 of the businesses, but a buy was successfully made at the AM/PM at Oasis Road and Cascade Boulevard. 21-year-old Matthew Lemire-Caudle was given a citation for furnishing alcohol to a minor. The operation was funded by a state grant.
