SINTF Agents Arrest 2 In Tehama County

Shasta County drug agents have made a major bust in Tehama County. The Oak Hollow Drive home of 49-year-old Nathan Hale and 35-year-old Deann O’Banion is off of Hooker Creek Road about 5 miles south of the county line. This was the third time the Shasta Interagency Narcotics Task Force has arrested both Hale and O’Banion since April. In May a search of the home, as well as a storage unit in Redding, allegedly resulted in the seizure of nearly 4 pounds of Methamphetamine, 1.5 grams of heroin, 2 pistols, a pickup and about $22,000 cash. Agents returned to the home at 10 O’clock Wednesday morning to do a probation search, reportedly finding another half pound of Methamphetamine and more than $2000. Hale and O’Banion were both booked into Tehama Coutny Jail for possession of Meth for sale. For Hale, it’ll likely mean a number of years in jail due to his prior felony convictions and accumulated charges.
