Search Warrant Uncovers Meth, Mushrooms, & 10K In Cash

Information gathered from drug-related arrests in Downtown Redding led the neighborhood police unit to check out a mobile home on Bechelli Lane. An investigation showed the location at the Country Club Mobile Park to be occupied by 48-year-old Daniel Keith Stanley and 54-year-old Laura Stevens. Stanley is on probation for burglary, so officers were able to search without a warrant. They say they found a large collection of Meth pipes, along with more than an ounce of Methamphetamine, scales, packaging and more than $10,000 cash. Officers also reported finding hallucinogenic mushrooms and many bindles packaged for sale of a highly addictive opioid pain killer. Police did not say if it was Fentanyl. Stanley and Stevens were both booked into jail.
