Thousands Of Pounds Of Trash Pulled From ACID Canal

A lot of trash is routinely pulled out from Redding’s waterways, where it clogs, pollutes and contaminates. Redding Police Community Service Officer Bob Brannon spends many hours pulling things out from where they shouldn’t have been dropped. He recently took a crew into the ACID Canal behind Crown Motors and hauled away about a thousand pounds of trash. Areas in need of cleanup can be reported through a link on our Facebook page.
