The ban was declared Friday by Cal-Fire covering all residential outdoor burning of landscape debris. There were concerns because of the unusually dry weather and the forecast for winds. Well, those winds have calmed, we’re getting a little bit of rain and the concerns are much reduced. Residents should still check if it’s a burn day before lighting up by calling 224-8777.
