An unlicensed teen driver apparently mistook the gas pedal for the brake Tuesday and crashed into an apartment in North Redding. Police were called to the North Point Apartment Complex just after 8PM and found a vehicle has crashed into a bedroom of one of the units. Police say the teen was driving a friends car and while making a u-turn, allowed it to go down a hill and over a curb before it crashed into the building. A person was home at the time and was briefly trapped in the room. No injuries were reported.
