Three Burglary Suspects Arrested With Over 200 Pounds Of Pot

Alert neighbors paved the way for a quick resolution to a burglary investigation in Siskiyou County. Sunday afternoon a resident on Rooster Road in Hornbrook called the sheriff’s office after arriving home to find his house ransacked. He was missing several guns, ammunition, tools and other things. The deputy who responded talked to neighbors who had seen a suspicious looking van cruising the area. He patrolled the surrounding roads and found a van matching the description parked in a dirt turnout on Klamathon Road. Three Yreka men were there: Dakota Thom-Eustad, Gary Gostlin and Timothy Hendricks, who was the driver of the van. He was unlicensed and the van’s registration was suspended, so a tow truck was called, meaning it had to be searched before being towed. Inside the van deputies reported finding. The guns, tools and other items from the burglary victim, as well as other stolen property and 223 pounds of marijuana. The three men were booked into jail.
