Coroner ID’s Man Killed In Fire December 12th

A man who died in a residential structure fire in North Redding a couple of weeks ago has been identified by the coroner’s office. Redding fire crews were dispatched at 2AM on December 12th to the corner of Alee Lane and Gopher Road, which is a narrow dirt road off Beltline north of Oasis. Although it’s less than a mile from fire station number six, access for the fire engines was very limited and water was an even bigger problem.  A hose line had to be stretched about 1500 feet to a hydrant on the other side of oasis road. The home was a large travel trailer underneath a freestanding metal canopy. The trailer was fully engulfed in fire, which had also spread to other buildings. Inside the trailer firefighters found a body which is now identified as 35-year-old Christopher Carl Crosman.
