A Chico man has been hit with a federal indictment accusing him in the sex trafficking a teenage girl. Federal prosecutors say that between July and October of this year, 23-year-old Christopher Lawrence forced and coerced a 17-year-old girl to have sex with men in cities all over the Northstate, including Redding, Chico, Corning, Gridley, Oroville, Yuba City, and as far south as Bakersfield and Los Angeles. Lawrence is accused of supplying the girl with drugs and physically assaulting her. If convicted, Lawrence could get 15 years to life in prison.
