A Medford, Oregon man was killed after his car was struck head-on by a wrong way driver on Interstate 5 Sunday afternoon, according to the CHP. At 12:15PM, 28-year-old Grace Elizabeth Ward was driving a Chevy Impala northbound in the southbound lanes of I-5 north of the Riverside exit. The driver of a Honda Accord was traveling southbound in the fast lane and could not avoid the Impala, according to the CHP.The 29-year-old driver of the Honda was killed. Ward’s Impala overturned and came to rest in the center median. She was taken to Mercy with a broken leg. The identity of the man killed has not been released. It’s not known why Ward was traveling in the wrong direction.
