Officers Arrest 16 During Sweep In Anderson

Anderson police made a productive sweep of wanted subjects on Friday, bringing in a total of sixteen. The APD’s Problem Oriented Policing Unit was assisted by Shasta County Probation and the Marshall’s Office. With an overcrowded jail, most of the arrestees were booked and immediately released as most of them have been on previous occasions before failing to appear in court. Nine of the arrests were made for outstanding warrants, and another seven people were arrested on fresh charges, including 25-year-old Kaitlin Dunham for possession of Heroin and Methamphetamine, as well as child endangerment. Her child was taken away by county officials.
