A man wanted after a shooting that nearly killed a man in Redding in April was arrested in the Sacramento area, according to Redding Police.On April 22nd officers found 34-year-old Andre Alexander Avant slumped over the wheel of a car on Eugenia Avenue. He had been shot multiple times, in his head, neck, and arm. He was transported up the hill to Mercy Hospital and was not expected to survive, but he did. On Tuesday, 24-year-old Mark Anthony Hill was arrested and will be charged with attempted murder charges. 21-year-old Erik Santiago has already pled guilty to charges resulting from the shooting and faces over 16 years in prison.
