Jury Finds Man Guilty Of Battery After Incident At Mercy Hospital

A man has been found guilty of battery by a Shasta County jury after he broke into Mercy Medical Center and fought with security. On September 23rd Gregory Donald Galusha was intercepted by security officers after he broke into the hospital through the double doors in the basement near the morgue. He was carrying three large rocks and bleeding from cuts on his arms. Due to his injuries, security personnel escorted him to the emergency room but he soon left and snuck back in to the halls through a set of one-way doors next to the ER. A security guard intercepted him again but he shoved the guard and tried to get into an elevator. He was then subdued, handcuffed and escorted to the parking lot to be turned over to Redding Police. His ultimate intentions are unknown.
