Doctor Charged With Multiple Felonies Pleads Not Guilty

A Redding doctor was arraigned Wednesday on fresh charges involving alleged sex crimes against his patients. Neurologist Hamid Rabiee was initially charged February 8th with 9 felony counts after four female patients accused him of touching their intimate areas during exams, under the guise of legitimate medical treatment. On Wednesday Doctor Rabiee was arraigned on 19 additional felony counts based on accusations made by four more female patients. One of the women alleges digital penetration. Doctor Rabiee entered not guilty pleas on all counts and remains behind bars, with bail set at $1,225,000. He’ll be in court February 28th for a hearing regarding his suspended license to practice medicine. A preliminary hearing on the criminal counts is set for March 6th.
