Facebook Dispute Ends With 60 Day Jail Sentence

A Shasta County man has been convicted in what could be called a case of social media rage. Kenneth Wayne Reynolds had a heated argument online with someone he met on Facebook. He had never actually met the person, who blocked him as a Facebook contact following the argument. A few weeks later Reynolds was at the Mount Shasta Mall and happened to see the person, who he confronted and then punched in the back of the head. On Tuesday Reynolds was convicted by a jury of misdemeanor battery and sentenced to 60 days in jail.
