Stalker Sentenced To 220 Days In County Jail

A Red Bluff man has been sentenced for felony stalking. 28-year-old Maxfield Parish had been in a relationship with the victim, but it ended and he didn’t want it to end. He sent the woman 500 text messages in one day while she was at work, and called her on the phone dozens of times. Many of the text messages he sent were threatening in nature. When the woman returned home to her apartment she found that parish had been there and had destroyed nearly every item she owned. She called red bluff police, who searched and found parish hiding in the backyard. He’s been sentenced to 220 days in county jail and 5 years formal probation, during which he must leave the woman alone.
