Many Redding Electric Utility customers in East Redding lost electricity due to a crash. Just after 10:30PM Sunday night a car hit a utility pole on Rancho Road near Airport Road. There were no injuries but 1359 customers, mostly residential, lost their power. 1310 of them were restored at 11:30PM Sunday night and the rest had electricity at 4:50AM Monday morning.
