A 43-year-old Red Bluff man is going to prison after a police officer was injured while chasing him. On November 4th a Red Bluff Police Officer tried to talk to Joseph Robert Finazzo and a companion about stealing items from Wal-Mart. Finazzo and the other person took off running, with the officer close behind them. As they ran across a street the officer tripped and fell, breaking his arm and scraping his fingers. Finazzo has been convicted of resisting arrest causing serious bodily injury, and he’s been sentenced to two years in state prison.
