A Corning man has gotten a long sentence for the continual sexual abuse of a child. 41-year-old Apolinar Manriquez Arce was arrested by Corning Police on March 28th of last year. The victim was Arce’s stepdaughter. He began raping her when she was just 7-years-old and the abuse continued for 4 years until his arrest, when the girl was 11-years-old. Arce has been sentenced to 38-years-to-life in state prison.
