A car has been discovered submerged in the Sacramento River early Friday morning. The car is in the water at the boat launch at Roosters Landing off of Ash Creek Road south of Anderson. Shasta County Sheriff’s Deputies, CHP Officers and fire rescue personnel are investigating whether anybody is inside. The car was found just after 5AmM. It’s about 6 feet underwater. Officers believe the car was pushed in and did not land there as a result of a crash. Divers will be needed to hook up the car.
