Man Who Punched His Boss Sentenced To Prison Term

A Tehama County man is going to prison for severely injuring his boss. 27-year-old Anthony Zachary Sanchez worked at Crain Orchards and became upset with his supervisor about work-related issues. Sanchez threw a punch at the supervisor, causing him to bounce off of a building support cable before his head hit the concrete floor. He was taken by helicopter to Mercy Hospital in Redding suffering from a skull fracture and bleeding in his brain. Sanchez fled the scene after the incident and was captured later. He’s been sentenced to 7 years in state prison.
