A home was destroyed by fire in Bella Vista Tuesday morning. Cal-Fire and Shasta County Fire Department crews responded at 8:43AM to Buena Vista Court off Deschutes Road. They found a mobile home well involved in fire. There’s little that can be done by firefighters to save burning mobile homes because of the lack of structural integrity in the frame, roof and floor, so all that could be done was an exterior attack. The home was completely destroyed, with an estimated loss of $15,000. The cause is still under investigation. It’s believed the residents had recently moved out and the home was unoccupied.
