A man has been convicted of making criminal threats by a Shasta County jury. Last November 19th, James Craig Lower told a family member “I don’t know if I’m going to shoot you or stab you.”. He then retrieved a handgun from his bedroom, convincing the victim that he might be serious about carrying out the threat. The Shasta County Sheriff’s Office was called and Lower was arrested. Lower was found guilty Thursday.
