There’s a bright purple Redding Police patrol vehicle cruising around. To bring attention to “Elder and Dependant Adult Abuse Awareness Month”, Signarama donated their services and applied a vinyl purple wrap to one of the RPD Ford Interceptor SUVS. Last year county officials received 2,764 allegations of abuse. There are many fun and educational ways to promote awareness of the issue this month, and they’re listed on the Shasta County Adult Protective Services website.
