A 79-year-old man was found dead after fire crews extinguished a fire in Dunsmuir Sunday night, according to the Siskyiou County Sheriff’s Office. Fire crews were called to the fire in the 4000 block of Hart Avenue just before Midnight. About 30 minutes later, crews found the body William Morgan inside the burned out structure. The Siskiyou County Arson Team and the Sheriff’s Office Major Crimes Unit is investigating Morgan’s death and are conducting a joint investigation. An autopsy is planned for later this week.
