Two Redding men were arrested Saturday and reportedly found with a curious collection of contraband. 29-year-old Arturo Paredes was pulled over by Redding Police for a traffic violation on North Court Street at 11th Street. The officer believed Paredes was driving under the influence of drugs so he searched him and allegedly found Methamphetamine and a pipe for smoking it. The officer also searched a backpack belonging to the passenger, 22-year-old Erik Morris, and allegedly found more Meth, as well as a loaded 9 millimeter handgun, gloves and ski masks. Both men were booked into jail.
